traci lords chump change9 p.m. : “Chump Change (Fame, Fortune, Cheese & Beer)”:
A real find. Few genres are more irresistible than those about show business in general and filmmaking in particular. For this quick, 90-minute lark, writer-director Stephen Burrows borrowed from his own experiences as a guy from Wisconsin – nicknamed “Milwaukee” – who finds something better than success, namely love, when he tries to make it as a writer in Hollywood.

Burrows plays a guy who tries to sell his screenplay, “The Whore, Her Mom, The Frog and the Bomb.”

“Chump Change” finds room for two very good female performances – from a new comic actress named McNally Sagal and from former porn star Traci Lords. Burrows’ film also stars Fred Willard, Tim Matheson, Anne Meara, Jerry Stiller, Amy Stiller, A.J. Benza and Abe Vigoda, and features original polka music by Wisconsin polka legend Steve Meisner on the accordion. Burrows will participate in a question-and-answer session after the screening.
